November 20, 2009	Guardian Energy shipped out its first load of ethanol.
September 2009	Guardian Energy purchased the Janesville plant.
August 2009	Guardian Energy announces that they have signed a purchase agreement for the Janesville plant.
March 2009	AgStar purchased the Janesville plant.
October 2008	VeraSun Energy files for bankruptcy.
April 2008	Brookings, S.D. based VeraSun Energy became the owner of the Janesville plant following a merge with U.S. BioEnergy. The Janesville plant is scheduled to begin operations before the end of the year.
January 2007	U.S. BioEnergy began construction on the Janesville ethanol plant, a large biorefinery that will be capable of producing 110 million gallons of fuel a year.
October 2005	U.S. BioEnergy announced plans to build a new ethanol plant near Janesville, MN.
